I started sewing clothes for myself at university, in 2000. Over time, people began to ask me where I got the clothes, and I started making things to order. I enjoyed it so much that my biggest dream was to open a shop. With the money I earned from doing people’s nails in the US, I was able to open Punkt in 2004. I ran it with Maja Kuczmińska until 2010. It was located on the first floor and was a combination of a shop, studio, café, and gallery. It hosted events, concerts, photo shoots and, above all, the sale of the clothes I designed. Each year The Point changed location and with it, its character. At Punkt, I created dozens of designs of dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, shirts, knitwear, earrings, necklaces, bags, and backpacks. Sweatshirts with ears, edible chocolate earrings, a by-the-metre scarf, and picnic bags were all a hit. In 2006, a collection of clothes were made from vintage fabrics, bought from ladies who stopped by after seeing our advert. In 2008, Punkt won the British Council International Young Fashion Entrepreneur Competition and was a guest at London Fashion Week. It has been described as one of the first concept stores in Poland. Punkt’s designs have been featured in, among others, Wysokie Obcasy, Elle, Elle Deco, Twój Styl, Glamour, Time Out, Kraków Post, Gazeta Wyborcza, Dziennik Polski, TVP, and TVN.
