Latte Capitalism is the shortest essay on late capitalism ever written. It references the post-war grammatical changes linked to the processes of depolonization and repolonization of double letters in surnames within the former East Prussia, as well as the contemporary symbolism of the letter “Z” associated with the war in Ukraine. Combining post-war grammatical shifts with the meaning of the letter “Z” allows for interpreting the phrase “Latte Capitalism” as another chapter in the Cold War.
