Friends

This series of artworks is dedicated to the memory of women whose names have not been recorded in history. The artist chose several periods in Polish history that saw numerous groups of women participated in politics, science, culture, and contributed to regaining independence (League of Women), transformation (female Solidarity members) or attended university as first ever female students. To date, Drożyńska created: Friends of Matejko, Friends of Jesus, Friends of Wałęsa, and Friends of Piłsudski.
