The embroidery is inspired by Stanislaw Dróżdż’s 1967 work, Forgetting, and was also presented as a project in public space. Drożyńska, paraphrasing Dróżdż’s statement, refers to female artists forgotten by art history. The project was carried out for the exhibition Herstory of Art III held at the Nuremberg House in Kraków.
