Libretto

Quotations from Stanisław Moniuszko's opera Halka (1858) were used in the project, which was created for the Polish National Opera at the Grand Theatre (Teatr Wielki) in Warsaw.
The National Opera's director censored the work, withdrawing it from the programme on the grounds of its political incorrectness and for fear that it would bring the courts down on it.
