Awaited disappearance of monuments

Monuments are permanently inscribed in the Polish public space. They were always, regardless of whether they were communist times or democracy. Narratives around the monuments changed, telling the story of the former or current heroes. Some of them are demolished over the course of political changes, and more are created in their places. Nothing but narration around the sculptures is changing. They always present fighting men. Postcards, were a prelude to education at a time when class differences limited access to literature. Today, postcards can be a form of emancipation, telling a story that has not yet happened. The disappearance of monuments is the spreading of the vision of the world without colonization, wars and the accumulation of fortunes. A world where care and care are becoming a political priority of the highest importance.
