Poltex. The history of the cotton industry

On the curtains in one of the rooms in a hotel, that was a former cotton factory, you can find the names of every Poznań factory from the last 150 years. The names were hand-stitched on it.
In the XIX century the factory was the heart of the region’s economy, today it turns to a shopping mall with a hotel.
On the same curtains one can find made up names of Poznań’s factories from which the most important is Ady Weil cotton mill. Ada is a fictional person, a representative of Łódź weavers.
The last name, Manufaktura has not been added because it already shines through the curtains.
