Sewing a local cultural centre

There is a particular political action that is remembered as a manifest regarding city politics. The action concerned the situation of the local cultural centre which future was endangered. There were various reasons threatening its existence: the development boom, expansion of the local housing estate and the sale of land on which the building was situated.
The city had failed to anticipate a backup plan for the center situated in Wola Duchacka, that is a district outside the city, basicaly a housing estate space.
Apart from the Dom Kultury (local cultural centre) there are also 4 schools and a shopping center.
We came to the conclusion that in such circumstances it was crucial to sew up a new one.
The sewing lasted for 6 months.
People who were directly connected with the Dom Kultury were also involved in the activities, people such as: drivers, the senior club participants, a hip-hop group and members of the housing estate inhabitants.
The grand opening of the sewn Dom Kultury was reported by the media and the local newspaper which was one of the contributing factors of the place's survival.
