Trendy Trinket

Trendy Trinket

When I was a little girl and was living in Gorlice, a shop called "Trendy Trinket" was opened on my street. Back then I believed that I was the trendy trinket and these days the Trendy trinket is my alter ego and the place at which I work – my studio.
The studio constists of a dress rental store. I rent dresses that I designed by myself. It is also the place where I throw parties, invite a number of artists who use the opportunity to display their own works (among the invited were Ola Kozioł, Dorota Podlaska, Marta Sala, Piotr Skalski). This is where I work and develop new projects and later during evenings we have The Hands of Gold embroidery school for ladys and gentelnems.
My studio is my three-dimensional notebook where I keep my artifacts, toys, shoes, photographs of my previous works and items that I call "catches" that are a good conversation starter.
In the future, Trendy Trinket is going to be an art center, a place of meetings, where countless number of artists can find their own personal space to present their works for the happiness of themselves and many other people.
Dorota Podlaska is going to run a café in which desserts and drinks are going to be a pieces of art, Karolina Berguła will run a cinema spot, Justyna Koeke will deal with fashion, Cecylia Malik will run the garden and I will run The Hands of Gold school.
This place will be a place of happiness and delight, beautiful as a fairytale with domes shaped like chocolate box.
